In
Los Angeles County alone, 75,000 children pass through child welfare services
each year. Enrichment materials that help children get through the emotional
and physical distress of their situations are vitally needed.
Los Angeles Police Chief Bernard C. Parks and his officers know what it's to see a crying, abused, neglected and hurting youngster and feel unable to help. Then The Jester & Pharley come to their aid. |

"Too
often a child experiencing a serious injustice to themselves or a member
of their family is filled with a variety of emotions from fear of the
individual that hurt them to the uncertainty of what will happen next.
The Jester & Pharley provide these children with a sense of comfort and
a smile."

C. Parks, Chief of Police, LAPD |

Professionals throughout the country welcome The Jester & Pharley's message and story to help children in distress. The demand for The Jester & Pharley educational materials is always greater than our ability to fulfill the need. |
|
|
The Jester & Pharley Phund's Children With Special Needs Program provides psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, counselors, clergy, juvenile authorities, police officers, firefighters and others who care for children in distress, children who have been abused or victimized, and children who cope with physical or mental disabilities with educational materials that bring smiles to those who have little to laugh about and give even the saddest child the gift of laughter. |
|
|
|
The need for Jester & Pharley educational materials for children with special needs continues to grow. Join us in our breakthrough mission to bring David's message of hope and laughter to the children of America with special health and emotional needs. |
