Jack Glimpse, a lifelong resident of Wichita. The Jester Has Lost His Jingle Currciulum Supplement, Jester & Pharley PhunBook and Jester & Pharley Doll were also given to the hospital to provide smiles and emotional support for young patients.

SUNNY SPOT — Beverly Spares, Child Life Specialist for hematology-onconlogy at Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland, ME, coordinated the reading of The Jester to patients. Each received a Jester book and doll as part of The Phund's Jester & Pharley Buddy Program.

IN TRIBUTE — The Jester & Pharley are immortalized in a commemorative quilt honoring children with cancer that was unveiled at the March Against Cancer in Washington, D.C. in 1998. This quilt now hangs at the Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Center at Miller Children's Hospital of Long Beach Memorial Center in Long Beach, CA. The Jester & Pharley square was sewn in David's memory by his aunt, Evelyn Warner of Kennebunk, ME.
SHRINERS' DAY —The Jester's Mom shares David's message with the Shriners Hospitals for Children patients in Los Angeles. All the kids received a copy of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and The Jester & Pharley Doll, courtesy of The Ladies Oriental Shrine and Parents Against Cancer of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, CA
