THE JESTER Makes The Best-Seller Lists Throughout The Country More than 5,000 children's books are produced each year and those that sell more than 12,000 copies a year are generally considered successful. There are a handful of children's classics that continue to sell year after year, including Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are," the Dr. Seuss books, "Stellaluna," "Madeline," "Curious George," "Goodnight Moon," and a few others.
