"We've used The Jester for several years now, and it's wonderful being able to share it daily with our patients," said Ternate.

WHERE LAUGHTER'S HIDINGLike the little girl in the hospital in The Jester story, Jennifer Cobar, 1, finds laughter hiding right inside herself, as she reaches for the jingling Jester & Pharley Doll. She and many other patients will be able to take The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and Jester & Pharley Doll home with them, thanks to the generosity of The California Endowment. Nursing Director Annie Ternate looks on with delight as Jennifer and other patients smile with The Jester & Pharley and The Jester's Mom.
LISTENING INTENTLYWendy Olmos happily goes on The Jester's journey as The Jester's Mom shares the story of The Jester & Pharley's quest for laughter, in front of The Jester & Pharley Smile Carts that ultimately made their way to Pediatric Units on the sixth floor, to the Pediatric Oncology Clinic and the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic-all donated to County+USC's Medical Center's Women's and Children's Hospital by The California Endowment.
