THE JOY
OF GIVING Trevor Tessalone, left, and his
sister Tori, stand between The Jester's Mom, center, and Little Company
of Mary Chief Executive Blair Contratto as they are given a warm round
of applause for their generosity and spirit of caring. "These youngsters
and their brother, Troy, represent the best there is in young people
today," said Barbara Saltzman. "For the last two years
before the first Jester & Pharley Smile Cart was presented to any
hospital
they told their family that they wished to forego Christmas gifts so
that they could give copies of 'The Jester Has Lost His Jingle' to young
patients at Little Company of Mary and Torrance Memorial hospitals.
They even raided their own piggy banks. And they have given more than
50 copies of 'The Jester' to be distributed to young patients."
Blair Contratto presented Trevor and Tori and their brother Troy with
Certificates of Appreciation for their continuing concern for ill children.
