OPEN SESAME
— Barbara Saltzman, The Jester's Mom, opens one
of four Jester & Pharley Smile Carts donated by The Kenneth T. and
Eileen L. Norris Foundation to show a patient the contents. In addition
to Jester & Pharley books, dolls, bookmarks and other materials,
The Smile Cart comes with a television, VCR and radio-tape-CD player
contributed by Sony Medical Systems as part of its For the Kids™
program.

GLAD TIDINGS
— Manager of Child Life Rachel Hunt looks on as
Barbara Saltzman gives young Sabrina Anaya a Jester & Pharley Doll
and Jester Has Lost His Jingle book to distribute to each child attending
the storytime that accompanied donation of the four Norris Foundation
Jester & Pharley Smile Carts. Other Jester & Pharley books and
dolls will be distributed to pediatric patients by Rachel Hunt to provide
them with emotional support during their hospital stays.
