During the month long Read-A-Thon students from Taper Avenue Elementary School
kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 191,801 pages!
The school, along with their sponsors, was able to donate 32 copies of The Jester
Has Lost His Jingle and 32 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the Los Angeles Police Department in memory of Officer Randal Simmons.
