During the three week Read-A-Thon students from Dr. Jonas E. Salk Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read an amazing 571,932 pages. The school, along with Scripps-Howard Foundation, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to UCI Medical Center in Orange, CA for use with their young patients.
