FOUNDATION DONATION Barbara Saltzman, The
Jester's Mom, and Nestle Elementary School Principal Joan B. Blair proudly
display the materials provided to Nestle Elementary School in Tarzana,
CA, as part of the Joseph Drown Foundation grant supporting The Jester
& Pharley Phund's Literacy & Outreach Program. Each classroom
receives a copy of The Jester & Pharley PhunBook, The
Jester Has Lost His Jingle and The Jester Has Lost His Jingle
Curriculum Supplement for teachers' and students' daily use and
reference. As well, the school library offers teachers use of The Jester
& Pharley Doll.

pepper The Jester's Mom with question after question about author David
Saltzman and how he wrote and illustrated The Jester Has Lost His
Jingle. They volunteer to "read like crazy" in their free
time to help bring copies of The Jester to children at nearby
Encino -Tarzana Regional Medical Center.
