During the three month long Read-A-Thon students from Matapeake Middle School kept journals to document their reading and pledge sheets to keep track of their pledges. Altogether they raised $1,319.32 and were able to donate 86 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 23 Jester & Pharley Dolls to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, TN and Children's National Medical Center, Washington DC for use with their pediatric patients.
