During the month long Read-a-Thon, students from Mark Twain Elementary kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 112,338 pages. The school, along with their sponsors, was able to donate 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, CA for use with their Partners for Healthy Kids program.
