During the four week Read-a-Thon, students from MacArthur Elementary kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 310,123 pages. The school, along with VERIZON, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the pediatric patients at Miller Chldren's Hospital in Long Beach, CA.
