During the two Read-a-Thons, the kindergartners from Lake Street Primary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 21,260 pages. The school, along with The Ahmanson Foundation, was able to donate 20 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle, 20 Jester & Pharley Dolls and 20 Jester & Pharley PhunBooks to Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, CA for use with their pediatric patients. |
