During the three month Read-A-Thon students from Holmes Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 291,387 pages. The school, along with the Employee Community Fund of Boeing California, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach, CA for use with their pediatric patients. |
