During the month long Read-a-Thon, students from Henry Elementary School, in Long Beach, kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 158,494 pages. The school, along with VERIZON, was able to donate 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the pediatric patients at Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach, CA. |
