During the two week Read-a-Thon, students from Fries Avenue Elementary kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 135,754 pages. The school, along with their sponsors, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the pediatric patients at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. |
