During the two, three week Read-a-Thons, students from Edison Elementary kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 129,632 pages. The school, along with VERIZON, was able to donate 60 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 60 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the pediatric patients at the Long Beach Children's Clinic in Long Beach, CA. |
