During the four month Read-a-Thon, students from Del Rio Elementary kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 351,194 pages. The school, along with the Morgan Stanley Foundation, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Tri-City Medical Center, in Oceanside for use with their pediatric patients.
