During the three week Read-a-Thon, students from De Anza Elementary kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 813,963 pages. The school, along with their sponsors, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to California Hospital in Los Angeles for use with their pediatric patients. |
