During the five week Read-a-Thon, 261 students from Chapman Elementary kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 202,272 pages. The school, along with Toyota Financial Services, was able to donate 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the pediatric patients at Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, CA. |
