During the five week Read-a-Thon, students from Carver Elementary kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 61,740 pages. The school, along with VERIZON, was able to donate 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the pediatric patients at Miller Chldren's Hospital in Long Beach, CA. |
