During the month long Read-A-Thon students from Buford Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 1,087,012 pages!! The school, along with the S. Mark Taper Foundation, was able to donate 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, CA for use with their pediatric patients.
