During the six week Read-a-Thon, 164 students from Buford Elementary, in Lennox CA, kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 88,223 pages. The school, along with the Weingart Foundation, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the pediatric patients at Childrens Hospital Lons Angeles. |
