During the month long Read-a-Thon, students from Bonita Street Elementary School, in Carson, kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 116,218 pages. The school, along with their sponsors, was able to donate 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the pediatric patients at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. |
