During the month long Read-A-Thon students from Bonita Street Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 89,234 pages. The school, along with The Steinmetz Foundation, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA to gift to their young patients. |
