During the eight week Read-A-Thon students from Bishop Elementary School kept journals to document their reading and pledge sheets to keep track of their pledges. Altogether they raised $1,000 and were able to donate 100 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle to the Family Service and Guidance Center in Topeka. The donation of books was made in honor of Spec. Kyle G. Thomas, the late son of Bishop's Principal Ray Thomas. See related article here.
