During the three week Read-A-Thon students from Bandini Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 192,260 pages. The school, along with their sponsors, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA for use with their pediatric patients. |
