During the six week Read-A-Thon students from 232nd Place Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 124,198 pages. The school, along with the Steinmetz Foundation, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA for use with their pediatric patients.
