Make Your Own Pharley

Supplies:

Paper; crayons, colored pencils, felt pens, water colors; fabric and fabric trimmings; ice cream sticks or tongue depressors; glue or glue gun; scissors.

Directions:

Ask the youngsters to draw their own Pharley or download the thejester.org coloring picture of Pharley for them to color. When they have completed coloring Pharley, assist them in cutting out Pharley and gluing him onto the ice cream stick. If desired you can glue small jingles to his hat. Students can then involve their Pharleys in storytime.
